Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!

Now that we're all done feasting on our Turkey/ Tofurkey Thanksgiving dinners and with the Black Friday shopping sprees (hopefully minus a black eye), it's time for a weekend of rest & relaxation i.e crafting. It took me a little while to decide what origami project would be worthy of this holiday celebration but alas here it is-- a napkin ring! Actually it would've been useful for TG dinner. But no worries, 'tis the holiday season; so another opportunity will present itself.
Note: you'll need some tissue paper for this project and some ribbon too.

Always remember that the videos are your guide, so follow them and don’t forget to have FUN!!

Centerpiece: Origami Flower Pot (Basket)

Put it all together and what do you get??...a display piece of course. It's time to discover and unleash the (interior) designer in you! Although this project isn't an origami flower, it should be just as fun and rewarding since it allows us to show off ;) Up to this point, we've learnt how to, and created a number of floral projects that can now be combined into a beautiful origami bouquet all tucked into your handmade origami basket. Please use some interesting paper for this project. If you decide to go for a pattern, it should complement the origami that will be housed/ placed within it. This is your chance to display your craft, so don't be shy about it; choose a variety of flowers and make something interesting.
